THE LANDER MULTI-PURPOSE SYSTEM SETS A NEW STANDARD. IT IS A NEW CONCEPT, THE RESULT OF THE LOGICAL EVOLUTION IN THE WORK OF TRAINING WITH SIMULATION.

The Lander Multi-Purpose System was the result of an in-depth reflection into the use of simulation in training. Simulation-based systems provide tools with a broad educational scope, which make it possible to complete the training of operators and teach the aspects which would otherwise be too costly or impossible. Until now, the inertia of the simulation world has focused on creating replicas of real units at high costs. Full-Mission Simulators, accessible only to a very small sector. Furthermore, they have the inconvenience of a very expensive maintenance service and specific installation requirements.

When Lander began to consider its proposals the market was not clear on its training needs. Lander began to question the idea of Full-Mission simulators as the only alternative in the world of training, and we proposed the objective of developing a more practical, affordable system, which met the demands of companies in the rail sector: better preparation of the operators, greater ease of use and reduced costs.

Lander Multi-Purpose System is a great novelty and sets a new standard. Starting from a common base, we adapt the product to the company’s or entity’s specific training needs, down to the finest details. It combines two apparently contradictory concepts: reduced manufacturing cost and optimal training results. Its main economic advantages are the capacity to optimise the size of the simulators and the design of the hardware. The possibility to simulate different units, safety systems, communications, signals etc. without exponentially modifying the hardware increases the scope of training. In turn, the system adapts perfectly to the training needs of the company or organisation. Thanks to the fact that several people can train at the same time, training is given to more workers and the number of training hours increases significantly.
