THANKS TO THE LANDER SIMBIO WE HAVE ACHIEVED OUR MOST IMPORTANT OBJECTIVE: BY PROVIDING MORE COMPLETE DRIVER TRAINING, WE PROVIDE SOCIAL WELL-BEING THAT CAN BE TRANSFERRED TO PEOPLE AND TO SOCIETY.

The dramatic road mortality statistics evidences the growing need for good preparation and awareness of drivers and users. The appearance of European Directive 2003/59/CE, which is compulsory for all EU member states, highlights the firm decision of Public Administrations to reduce accidents on the roads. In Spain, this directive materialised with the creation of the Certificate of Professional Aptitude (CAP).

For the first time in the sector, continuing training appears in the training of professional drivers. There are essential aspects of driver training that are impossible to teach without using a simulator. For this reason, within a wide range of criteria, simulators are defined as the alternative for the proper and complete training of drivers. Consequently, and with immediate results, the need has emerged for the integration of training systems by simulation. But the market is still not clear about the type or functionality of the simulators that can be used.

Lander Simbio was created in response to the growing need for the installation of simulation training systems in the training programmes of transport sector professionals. It makes it possible to achieve and successfully surpass the qualification levels required of professional drivers. It is the result of our extensive experience in the world of simulation training. Its creation has been possible thanks to the advances experienced by new technologies in recent years.

Lander Simbio has evolved from Lander Tutor, the product which was a success but which, because of its high cost, was only affordable to large companies or organisations with significant public funding. It includes all its capacities at training level and it has additional advantages that were in such demand by the market: cost reduction, easy installation, short delivery times and instructor independence. It establishes a completely different method where training with simulation must be understood. It is a mass application of new technologies in the training field. Now, a large sector of society is able to acquire a simulator, improve the quality and content of the drivers’ training. This means an automatic reduction in road accidents and improves road safety.

Directiva Europea 2003/59/CE

European Directive  2003/59/CE

The immediate objective of European Directive 2003/59/CE is the progressive professionalisation of the transport sector. The Certificate of Professional Aptitude (CAP) was created for transport professionals.

The CAP is based on three core principles: rational and environmental driving, the regulation of transport and logistics sectors, as well as safety and health in transport. The model, which has already been taught in several European countries, has had good results in relation to a reduction in the number of accidents, a reduction in the use of fuel, and a reduction of sick leave due to temporary disability.
