Simulation is on the up in Mexico along with LANDER

2018 was a year of continuous and sustained growth in terms of the incorporation of LANDER simulators by the country's leading transport and mobility companies. Last year marked a before and after in Mexico with the arrival of simulation technology. This technology is now a reality that is here to stay and from which there is no turning back.

Some companies are already placing repeat orders, such as GRUPO ADO, which purchased its second driving simulator for the Puebla operational station in September. In 2016, GRUPO ADO bought its first simulator which is located in Mexico City, and with plans for future growth, the company would not even think to training its drivers without driving simulators.

In Monterrey, GRUPO SENDA has started 2019 with a simulator ready at its facilities to perform at full capacity. Meanwhile with GRUPO FLECHA AMARILLA in Leon and GRUPO ESTRELLA BLANCA in Mexico City, agreements are being drawn up to introduce LANDER simulators in the first quarter of the year.

In turn, DAIMLER introduced a driving simulator for its famed truck brand FREIGHTLINER to enhance its Post Sales service, and is organising a country-wide tour in 2019 to announce this new addition.

If 2018 was a year of growth for simulation technology, 2019 is set to be its year of consolidation. In this respect, Mexico will be one of the world's leading companies with its firm commitment to adopting new technologies designed for the professionalisation of training.
