LANDER makes the jump to Canada
Driving a police vehicle goes far beyond moving from one place to another. Police officers must remain alert, respond to calls, assess risks in real-time, and make critical decisions in a matter of seconds. This makes operational driving one of the most demanding tasks of a police service, where each maneuver can directly affect the safety of the agent, their fellow officers, and citizens at large.
With this level of demand, specialized training is key. For this reason, organizations like Canada’s national police service, which is internationally recognized for having some of the world’s most complex and rigorous training curricula, have been opting for simulations to prepare its cadets for more than 15 years.
Taking into account the organization’s extensive experience, together with the opportunities that the most cutting-edge simulation technology has to offer, Lander Simulation is proud that the RCMP has awarded a contract to LANDER SIMULATION, which will provide its next generation of simulators, with an eye on incorporating 16 innovative police car simulators.
The new units will help the organization continue to perfect officer training by combining technical skill practice with training for critical situation decision-making. All of this is in line with its operational model that guides officers through risk assessment, available resource coordination, and efficient response execution.
We at LANDER would like to express our deep gratitude for this exciting opportunity.
