ETS purchases training simulators for railway traffic controllers

At LANDER, since our inception, we have always been committed to improving the companies in our region. It was a privilege to be able to start in this world of railway simulation with Euskotren, a local operator, to then go out into the rest of the world with train, metro and tram driving simulators, in a gradual growth process that has taken us to the five continents.

This time, we are glad to return to our land to implement one of the railway simulation solutions we have incorporated in LANDER, and which we have already successfully installed in other countries. These are simulators for the company that manages the Basque Railway Network (Red Ferroviaria Vasca – RFV/Euskal Trenbide Sarea ‒ ETS), who chose us a few months ago to develop its first two Simulation Classrooms of the Traffic Control Centres of Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa. A project we are very enthusiastic about taking on as it is also the first in which we will develop simulators exclusively dedicated to the training of railway control centre staff. As mentioned, it is one of the new solutions for railways that we have been implementing around the world since 2018, for example in Singapore and Mexico, and which offer many advantages over traditional tools for these types of positions.

We look forward to performing the implementation throughout 2023 and being able to show you the result of simulators that are sure to surprise the operators of railway control centres that are interested in improving and changing the way in which they have been training their operators.

From here we would like to thank RFV-ETS for the trust placed in LANDER to embark on an innovative path. We hope to soon see first-hand the added value that simulators will bring them.
