Fletes Chihuahua to incorporate a truck simulator in Mexico

The latest generation truck simulator has proven to be the preferred solution for freight transport companies in Mexico to address the problems of driver shortages and high staff turnover.

So far this year, the ANTP (National Association of Private Cargo Transport) simulator has been seen in Monterrey, San Luis Potosí and Jalisco, and now it has arrived in Mexico City. The simulator is installed in a mobile classroom and is travelling around the country as part of the TrackSIM Rally project. This is an initiative that seeks to democratise technology and introduce simulation to society as a whole and to logistics companies in particular.

In the TrackSIM Rally, the driving skills of drivers from companies such as Almex, Arcacontinental, Pilot, Bimbo, Cemex, Grupo Modelo and Sigma Alimentos have been put to the test in the simulator. Evaluation and diagnosis tests have been carried out with the aim of implementing long-term improvement plans to promote safe & efficient driving.

And now the company FLECHISA (Fletes Chihuahua) has decided to invest in a school for drivers with a LANDER brand truck simulator, which will be installed in one of its regional branches in the State of Mexico.

FLECHISA, a family firm with more than 70 years in the business, has all kinds of heavy vehicles to transport cargo to every corner of the country, including articulated and double-articulated trucks and urban delivery trucks. Kenworth and International are their favourite truck manufacturers and theirs are the vehicles that make up the FLECHISA vehicle fleet. They will also be the vehicle models included in the simulator.

We hope that the work the ANTP is carrying out to spread the word about simulators with its TrackSIM Rally campaign encourages more companies like FLECHISA to acquire their own truck simulators.
