LANDER at the 37th National Convention of Urban Transport in Warsaw

On 17 and 18 May representatives of LANDER attended the 37th National Convention of Urban Transport, organised by IGKM on this occasion in the city of Warsaw. This is Poland's major urban transport event, and it is held every two years.

This year's convention was organised alongside “Tramwaje Warszawskie” (Warsaw Tram), and a large portion of it was given over to celebration of the 110th anniversary of Warsaw's first electric tram, recalling milestones in the city's tram history.

One of the speakers scheduled was Mrs. Dorota Minorczyk of Warsaw Tram, who explained in depth how the simulators they developed alongside LANDER had become a most useful tool to train new drivers and upgrade and validate the aptitudes of more experienced drivers. On the second day, those attending the convention were also given the chance to visit the simulator training room, and all of them were able to try out the equipment.

Here we wish to express our thanks to Warsaw Tram for the trust it placed in us to develop these facilities, and for the wonderful experience they provided, enabling us to build them together and take pride in them.

We wish, of course, to add our congratulations to them for being such good hosts, and also to the organisation for the quality of the presentations and the visits scheduled on the programme.
