LANDER brings new simulation technology to the UK

LANDER Simulation continues its expansion in the UK, collaborating with prestigious institutions and organisations working to improve driver training in the country.

One of LANDER's most recent projects in the UK is its partnership with the Defence School of Transport (DST), which is part of the Ministry of Defence. The DST is responsible for providing driving and transport training for all branches of the British armed forces, as well as for civilians working in the transport field. LANDER has been selected to develop a driver training centre in Leconfield, which will feature state-of-the-art driving simulators.

This DST project is particularly significant as it will provide four heavy vehicle driving training stations equipped with the latest LANDER simulation technology. These simulators will allow students to run simulations for over ten vehicle types, both military and civilian, in a range of set-ups, including rigid and articulated vehicles, and in various surroundings such as the desert and the city. The DST is committed to providing a realistic and comprehensive training experience, and achieve this, it has been essential for the simulators to be flexible enough to adapt to all the training situations required by the client.

However, LANDER's expansion in the UK is not confined to military projects. It has also recently shown its ability to adapt to the English policing sector by developing a mobile classroom motorbike simulator for Devon & Cornwall Police. This project is proof of LANDER's versatility in adapting to the specific needs of its clients and providing effective training even in specialised areas such as road safety awareness.

Its progress in the UK has been driven by a commitment to excellence and innovation. Its client-centric approach and constant search for advanced solutions have made it a reliable partner in improving driver training in the country. Its high-end driving simulation technology incorporates the latest technological advances and adapts to the changing needs of the transport industry.
