New Project Manager at LANDER

We recently announced a new destination for us in Germany, this time in Leipzig, with Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (LVB), who last December awarded LANDER the contract for their project to create a simulation system for tram driving.

This new venture, which joins others such as the projects for RNV in Mannheim, the Thuringian police and Wiener Linien in Vienna, provides us with another opportunity to continue to strengthen our relationship with the German-speaking countries. And, as in any worthwhile relationship, communication is also essential on this occasion. For this reason, LANDER is delighted to announce the incorporation of a new Project Manager, Oliver Winter, who not only knows the distinctive characteristics of this area due to his Austrian origin but will also provide LANDER with his extensive technical knowledge.

Trained in mechatronics, Oliver received his doctorate from the Technical University of Vienna. He also has comprehensive professional experience. In fact, it could be argued that Oliver is working his way through all the different phases of designing, developing and marketing an industrial product. After beginning his career as a product researcher at the Austrian Institute of Technology, he made the leap to product development with the automotive company GKN Automotive around five years ago. From this year, Oliver joins the LANDER team where he will be in charge of managing the different driving simulator projects, adapting them to the needs of the operating companies.

According to Oliver, he finds working to improve transport safety a highly motivating goal. Without doubt, his committed nature is also reflected in other areas such as the environment. Oliver and his family share a passion for nature and organic farming and at their farmhouse in the Lastur Valley they also offer visitors and tourists the possibility to learn about and enjoy the special surroundings.

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome him and wish him every success in this new journey that he has undertaken with LANDER.
