Our partner Wiener Linien is extending its metro service in the city of Vienna

When LANDER begins a new project anywhere in the world, one of the things we most like to see is our client’s activity growing and increasing year on year. This is especially important in an area such as the carriage of people and goods, where reaching new destinations is, naturally, of vital importance and one of the prime objectives for any company.

With this in mind, we were delighted, last week, to see that our recent travelling companion Wiener Linien opened the extension to its red line, the legendary U1, which will now go 4.6 km further, as far as Oberlaa, and include 5 new stations on the route. The line will now have its new end right next to the wellness center Therme Wien, also close to the picturesque park carrying the name of the new last station in the U1 line, Kurpark Oberlaa.

As we said above, we are delighted that Wiener Linien is continuing to extend the service it provides to the city of Vienna and we trust we will continue working together for many years, adding our contribution to future extensions to a network that is as consolidated and precise as the one in the Austrian capital.

Congratulations, Wiener Linien!
