Further to our article in March on the importance of transport in Turkey, we now wish to address major internal connections in the country's urban nuclei.

On 17 and 18 May representatives of LANDER attended the 37th National Convention of Urban Transport, organised by IGKM on this occasion in the city of Warsaw.

Several years ago, as part of LANDER's Middle East operations, we entered into a relationship with federal company Emirates Transport in the United Arab Emirates.

The tram division of GVB (the municipal public transport operator in Amsterdam) has decided to advance further in its quest to provide an excellent service by acquiring a tram simulation system for its driver training programme. We have been working for some months now on the development of this project, which has the goal of designing a training tool that will enable all of the company’s drivers to receive training.

Being a leader in simulation means not only having the best product but also guaranteeing quality in all of the processes.

This week Bilbao Exhibition Center staged one of the major trade fairs and congresses in the metro, light rail and suburban transport sector, the World Metro & Light Rail Congress.

On 6 April, CPTM officially inaugurated the fifth training centre with equipment installed by LANDER at a ceremony attended by Directors and Managers of the company.
