After a successful year for Turkey, during which several railway projects have been reactivated, and among great expectancy until TCDD reveals the future partner which will set the country at Very High Speed, Eurasia Rail has been back for good in Istanbul

LANDER is pleased to announce a new addition to our team in the form of Ander Iraola, a young man full of energy and excitement to be starting a new phase of his life. Ander has a track record that fits exactly with what Lander needs. He has spent the last three years in Mexico and will now take over from Marina Sanz – who has transferred to another department – as Area Manager for this country.

Last 18 January was an important day for the province of Utrecht. Tram operator QBuzz and the municipality of Utrecht celebrated an event that highlighted the commitment of both bodies to excellence in transport, sustainability and above all, their commitment to safety.

Becoming a global exemplar of safety doesn’t happen overnight. A clear objective, together with a strong commitment to new technologies and constant innovation, are values that have without doubt helped VOLVO to reach the industry heights. Its latest initiatives include an innovative driving simulator which has been developed recently in collaboration with LANDER.

What better way to start the year than by launching new simulation equipment for training engine drivers at Metro de Santiago.

2016 is coming to an end and at LANDER we would like to thank all our customers and colleagues for the experiences that we have shared throughout these months.

Once again this year LANDER attended the most important railway sector trade fair in Brazil, NT Expo, to learn about the latest novelties in the sector in Brazil. 

This year we went to Santiago to once again attend the annual conference organised by the Latin American Association of Metros and Subways (ALAMYS). This was a special occasion, as it marked the 30th anniversary of the assembly.
