The city of Warsaw once again entrusts LANDER to refurbish its tram simulators

Legend has it that long ago, when Warsaw was just a small fishing village, Szawa, a mermaid with golden hair, frequented the beaches on the banks of the Vistula. The mermaid was captured to entertain a greedy merchant with her songs. After hearing her cries, Wars, a young villager, set her free. The mermaid promised to become the city's guardian and since then she has carried a sword and shield to defend Warsaw from its enemies.

Since 2015, LANDER has also enjoyed her protection, as the first agreement was signed to provide a simulator system for the Warsaw tramway system. In addition to bearing its beautiful guardian on its coat of arms, the city boasts one of the oldest and most extensive tramway systems in the world. Since their entry into operation, LANDER driving simulators have enabled thousands of drivers from the Tramwaje Warszawskie company to use them for training, thereby improving the safety of urban transport for the city's inhabitants.

Seven years later, the company is once again placing its trust in LANDER to update its simulation system with Hyundai Rotem's new rolling stock, the 140N, which is about to become operational in the city. After this update, the Warsaw tram simulator system will have four vehicle models for simulations.

We would like to thank Tramwaje Warszawskie, and all its members who work so hard every day, for the trust they have placed in LANDER to continue on this journey together. Wars and Szawa must have had something to do with it.
